who we are

Our Philosophy

We believe in growing beautiful flowers that help sustain our butterfly and bee populations and are healthy for our friends, family and land. Our flowers lovingly feed our soil, our pollinators, our bird populations, and our souls. We believe that flowers speak volumes when words cannot, and we want to spread the joy, happiness, and love that flowers bring, to everyone we can.

Our unique garden inspired designs and aesthetic are influenced by nature and all of its wild colors, textures, and patterns. Our designs are highly textural with plenty of movement and unique natural elements. We grow, we forage, and we are inspired daily by the beauty that is cultivated in our flower fields and out in our wild meadows and forest.

As a farmer-florist, my goal is to grow most of what I need to design for weddings and events during the summer months and supplement with local growers first and global flower sources second. We are very lucky to have trusted floral sources when we need them but prefer to limit our carbon footprint as much as possible.

Meet the owner + grower + designer

Dana is a flower farmer-florist, former high school social studies teacher, nature lover, dog mom, chicken lady, gardener, forager, wanna be homesteader, DIYer, music lover, and wife to an amazingly talented and hard-working husband. She loves over-sized sweatshirts, the sounds of spring, coffee on the deck, boat rides, music, canning jam, laughing with good friends, traveling, butterflies, her family, and home improvement projects.

During the season you can usually find her outside in the flower fields, at the lake, or walking the trails with her best girl, Winnie and right hand man, Arnold. In the off season she is planning, resting, reading, traveling and dreaming up her next big idea.

Her husband does all the builds, engineering, and heavy lifting, and she owes so much to him for his help and support.
